Grounded. It’s that feeling we all seek when life gets crazy and overwhelm threatens. But just how do you achieve this blissful state and why is it so important?
I found the science behind Earthing via Clint Ober, the OG of Earthing® and Ground Therapy®. You can hear the research and benefits straight from Clint here:
Grounding Opportunities
According to the Earthing website: “Our ancestors were grounded 24/7, so generally the more you get grounded the better. That being said, 30 minutes is the minimum amount of time recommended to be grounded each day.”
- Grass, Sand, Dirt & Soil
- Plants & Living Trees (Especially with Wet Bark)
- Gravel & Rock (That Is Touching the Earth)
- Unsealed Concrete (Or Coated with a Water-based Sealant)
- Unsealed Brick (Or Coated with a Water-based Sealant)
- Bodies Of Water (Like Oceans, Lakes, and Streams)
I started with the basic grounding kit. From the first night, I noticed a difference in my sleep using the sleep mat – less tossing and turning, less aches upon waking, no creaky joints getting out of bed. I also positioned the chair mat in my home office. And at the time I purchased the kit, it came with a pair of the newest product – walking shoes – complimentary. I use these on my hikes and have had great results!
