I couldn’t visit the Big Island without getting wet. Into the water I went, on the famous Manta Ray night snorkel trip and on a visit to Captain Cook’s monument. Both highly recommended – though I was so busy enjoying I did not get a lot of pics – so be sure to visit the websites to get a feel for these tours.
Captain Cook Snorkel
Dolphin Discoveries was my host to the Captain Cook Monument and coastal cruise.
Noted as one of the most beautiful snorkeling destinations in the world, our Captain Cook Snorkel Tour will take you through the reefs that populate Kealakekua Bay. You are sure to come face to face with plenty of tropical fish whose colors span the entire rainbow.
Our Captain Cook Snorkel Tour offers a chance to dive into the warm waters of the Kona Coast. This means even greater chances of seeing amazing Honu (sea turtles), fish, and if you’re lucky, some other rare marine life that might cruise by.
One of the most spectacular sights to see on your venture to Kealakekua Bay is a possible glimpse of dolphins or whales, that may be playing in the waters or breaching off the side of the boat.
If you are looking for an unforgettable experience for your friends and family, you can’t go wrong with this wonderful day out on the water.
Manta Ray Night Snorkel
Hang Loose Boat Tours hosted me for the manta ray night snorkel. The jet boat ride out to the site was exhilarating and time in the water with the mantas was exceptional. Big shout out to this provider!
