Hooga Infrared

Infrared therapy is a fascinating treatment that utilizes light to foster healing and wellness. It’s been noted for its ability to alleviate pain, reduce muscle spasms, and accelerate tissue repair, among other benefits. Interestingly, it works by encouraging cell growth and increasing the production of mitochondria, which are the powerhouses of our cells. This boost in cellular energy can lead to improved cell function and repair. It’s often associated with pain relief and skin rejuvenation.

I’ve been utilizing infrared therapy for years now, mostly in the form of sauna-type treatments at the gym or with stand-alone facilities. It wasn’t until my dog injured his back that I considered purchasing a home device.

Hooga Belt

Enter the Hooga Redlight Therapy Belt:

I began using the device on my dog in 3-minute sessions wrapping around his back and rear hips. He is not at all bothered by the treatment and showed improvement in his hikes and trail walks within a week.

The bonus is that I can also benefit from spot treatments if I get aches or pains from over working, sitting too long, or extra heavy gym visits. I generally take 10-minute sessions. I can’t recommend Hooga highly enough!
